Chapter 1. THE DRIVER
Chapter 2. RISK FACTORS
Chapter 3. THE VEHICLE
Chapter 4. VULNERABLE USERS
In work related accidents we not only have to take into account the direct consequences to the worker, but also take into account the consequences to the company:
For many years the prevention services of companies have trained the workers and have influenced the risks that come from handling loads, falls from different levels, ergonomics in workstations with computer screens, etc., but risks that may occur during driving have been neglected. Recently, labour inspections have included special emphasis on the prevention that companies place on this matter.
This course is the first that contains all the necessary contents for training in this matter. In addition to a reminder of traffic regulations, all issues that affect the driver are addressed: psychophysical status (fatigue, sleep, alcohol, drugs, etc.) and a complete unit is dedicated to distractions.
Do not forget the other factors involved in traffic: the vehicle and the road. One of the modules is dedicated to the road and its environment, dealing with weather conditions and other issues such as night driving and curves.
